Priory group embraces web tv
The Priory Group has commissioned a series of web TV programmes aimed at raising awareness of its specialist services to GPs and other medical practitioners.
Priory Healthcare News launched with Professor Chris Thompson examining the complex issue of resistant depression.
Professor Thompson, who trained at the Institute of Psychiatry and has authored a number of significant papers on depression, is Healthcare Director of Priory Group and a Board Member of the Depression Alliance. He is a renowned authority in the field of depression and, together with other Priory clinicians, is pioneering innovative new treatments for resistant depression
The Priory Group is Europe's leading independent provider of acute mental health, secure and step-down services, specialist education, complex care and neuro-rehabilitation services, working in partnership with the public and independent sectors.
Further programmes in production include alcohol addiction, social anxiety and personality disorders.
The programmes are hosted on www.broadbandtvchannel.co.uk, an internet TV channel targeted at businesses and services, providing a national service compiling TV reports that are then available to view on the internet. The web TV channel is owned by Darlington-based Recognition Services Ltd, which supplies photographic, video, design and web services clients throughout the UK. The company is owned by Graham Robb and Frances Bourne.
