Coventry Care Home Appoints New Manager

Coundon Manor in Coventry, part of the Priory Group, has appointed an experienced home manager to head-up its team.

Pauline Starrs, who is a State Registered Nurse (SRN) with over 35 years experience and a special expertise in dementia care, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role.

Located in Foster Road, Coundon Manor is a purpose built nursing home with beds for 74 residents needing nursing or dementia nursing care. The home will be opening later this year with several residents already registered.

Care at Coundon Manor will be provided in single, en-suite accommodation finished to the highest standard. There will also be a choice of lounges and dining areas and a secure, enclosed landscaped garden.

Pauline, who lives in Rugby, enjoys spending her spare time outdoors, walking her two huskies and riding her motor bike.

Pauline said: “I am looking forward to leading the new team and welcoming our first residents to the home. My previous jobs in nursing and dementia care will assist me in my role as manager to ensure quality services are delivered.”
