Priory Coleg Wales

Priory Coleg Wales is a specialist co-educational college for students aged 16 to 25 with Asperger's Syndrome and associated conditions. It was established in 2010 in partnership with Coleg Gwent to meet the academic, social and emotional needs of young people aged 16 to 25 with Asperger's Syndrome.

The desired outcome is for students to be prepared for a fulfilling adulthood, to feel empowered to make choices and to optimise their independent living skills.

We provide:

• An aspirational provision focused upon a positive understanding of autistic spectrum conditions
• One to three year intensive learning and independence programmes
• Access to mainstream further education through individualised tailored academic and vocational courses
• Clearly defined goals for education and therapy
• An entitlement to work experience placement
• Preparation for employment, higher education and independence
